At least this seems to be a trend. I buy tickets to shows way in advance, and about 90% of the time the show ends up selling out. Spoon, Cake, Death Cab, Ratatat… Spoon was obvious, maybe Cake also, but I really didn’t think/know the others would end up selling out. Anyway, I’ll let you know what tickets I buy next, if you want to know what’s going to sell out. :)
So tonight is the last leg of this current round of shows. This week was a bit more spaced out than last week’s back-to-back Spoon/Guster legs. Cake on Tuesday…

It’s pretty solid this year, definitely better than the past few years (the best since I’ve been in Austin probably) IMO. Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, and Beastie Boys headlining with a slue of great names top to bottom. Outside of the Beastie Boys, the headliners aren’t the most exciting for me. Last night I saw Spoon at the Scoot Inn. It. was. awesome. Chill and I got there around 8pm, soon after the opener, Black Nasty, started playing. So I know as of late my blogging has been… well, pathetic. I was doing well for awhile, but then it stopped. Maybe I was too busy. Maybe I was too lazy. Maybe I was too lame.
